Rishi Kapoor, is a Multi-Jurisdictional Lawyer. Having experience of 6+ years of having practiced in Indian & UAE law and been involved in large scale Litigation and Arbitrations. Have appeared for Government of India in some very high profile matters and Appears regularly before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts at Delhi, Jaipur, Chandigarh and Mumbai, National Green Tribunal, National Company Law Tribunal as well as judicial & quasi-judicial forum of the Delhi such as DRT, CAT, NCLAT, RERA, NCDRC, State Consumer Commission & CBI Courts.
He also dealt with environmental issues, commercial Arbitration disputes and has done Negotiation, Drafting, Vetting and settlement of various kinds of corporate commercial agreements.
He is a Law Graduate from the Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur and is enrolledwith the Bar Council of Delhi. He is also member of Delhi High Court Bar Association and Supreme Court Bar Association.
He has a rich experience in diverse areas of law, particularly litigation, arbitration, banking and finance, employment, recovery suits, criminal, general corporate and transactional advisory as well as commercial dispute resolution.
Mr. Kapoor, while representing India presented a paper on “Geological Carbon Sequestration: are the existing legal and regulatory frameworks adequate”, in 2nd International Law Congress of Youth, organized by Maltepe University Istanbul-Turkey.
He has recently also authored a book titled as Environmental Policy & Law, having ISBN-81-866-44-37-7.
